Heather’s Dinner of the Week

It’s been a while since we have posted a Dinner of the Week and tonight we’re showcasingHeather’s Shrimp and Grits…amazing. The shrimp were huge and plump (5 count) and perfectly cooked in a spicy, creamy sauce. Heather started by making her own shrimp stock with the heads and shells, onions, garlic, bay leaves, peppercorns, and I don’t even know what else! After the stock was made she added the shrimp and poblano peppers, I still don’t know how she made it creamy. She poured all of this deliciousness over a hot bowl of slow cooked (no instant here) grits.
