Oak Alley Plantation Wedding – Katy and Justen

This Oak Alley Plantation wedding was one giant celebration from start to finish. We were lucky enough to meet up with Katy two days before her wedding at Oak Alley Plantation for her bridals on Halloween morning. When we showed up on her wedding day, Katy was getting ready at a cute little cottage on the property behind the main plantation. Surrounded by her bridesmaids and her Mother, she had all the support a girl could want while she prepared to walk down the isle. Kate had some of the cutest wedding details, including a personal bible that was her grandmother’s form the 1930’s. The sun was shining and the weather was perfect, warm in the sun and a slightly cool breeze. When having an outside wedding, this type of thing is so important. Once Kate was ready she made her way up the large balcony to see Justen for their secluded first look 30 feet in the air away from everyone else.

Right as the sun set, all of the guests took their seats underneath all of the massive oak trees and waited for Kate to make her big arrival. The vows were said, the kiss was had, and the entire wedding made their way back to the reception area for dancing, cake and good times. We love this wedding, love this couple, love this wedding!!!
