Preservation Hall Wedding – Jenny and Sean

Is there anything more New Orleans than a Preservation Hall Wedding?  I can’t think of another building that has so much history and music crammed into such a unique space! Who wouldn’t want to say their vows to the love of their life in front of their family and friends amongst the musically charged atmosphere? Surrounded by her best friends, Jenny got ready behind the courtyard in a room filled with tons of nick-nacks and records where champagne and fresh fruits kept them happy. In the courtyard everyone was drooling over the crazy delicious hors d’oeuvres being arranged for cocktail hour. Sean hung with his guys before the ceremony quietly gathering his thoughts and emotions. I just gotta stop here and tell you readers how genuine and kind Sean is; his smile was infectious!

After their ceremony, all of the guests enjoyed drinks and conversation with the Kinfolk brass band playing under the moonlight. Once it was time to make our way to the official reception at the Musee Conti Wax Museum, the Kinfolk Brass Band led everyone through the French Quarter with a traditional Second Line. Jenny and Sean just ate up all of the attention and danced away in the streets. One of our favorite bands, The Buck Town All Stars, kept the party going inside of the reception hall and if you’ve never seen these guys play, it’s an experience!! The All Stars literally spent half of the evening on the dance floor with everyone making sure they had the best time.

We had so much fun!!! Love Jenny and Sean and wish them so much love and happiness together 🙂
