New Orleans Wedding – Catherine and Garrett

Alright, we’re dipping back into our blog since we’ve got so much time these days and we have a shit ton of incredible weddings that we can share with y’all. Today we’re sharing some highlights from Catherine and Garrett’s wedding that the had in New Orleans. So the two of them are nuts and we love them, they’re so much fun. They’ve got this chill vibe that really made the whole day go by fast. We legit were happy to see them again at their album design just so we could hang out again! So their wedding started at Hotel Moteleone where Catherine and Garret got ready. We ended up coming back there for the reception but we’ll get back to that. The Monteleone reached out to us a few days before the wedding because one of their lights on the giant sign wasn’t working and they knew Catherine and Garrett wanted to do their First Look on the roof. Luckily the hotel worked their magic and everything was fixed in time. We’re glad they took advantage and made time for themselves and did a first look. We hear it all the time from couples who didn’t want to do a first look or set aside time for portraits how much they regret not doing it, and if they had the opportunity to do it all again, they would do a first look every time.

After they got to see each other for the first time we went downstairs to take formal photos with the family. Sue with Beth Flowers saved our ass with her timelines. So we’d like to send a special shout out to Sue for being so awesome and being on point. Next stop was St. Louis Cathedral for the ceremony. The wedding ceremony was super classy and elegant. It’s really hard to go wrong with a setting like the Cathedral.

The rest of the night started with Kinfolk Brass Band leading the secondline back to the Monteleone for the reception. It’ was a great night and a great party. Catherine and Garrett throw a hell of a party. We wish them all the best!
